Burra Antiques & Collectables Fair
News
Update 24 July 2026
The cost for stallholders at the Burra Antiques & Collectables Fair is $75 per trestle space for the two days of May 1 & 2. Most of you I expect would set up on the Friday night, so we'll be there ready to help you.
As I naively told someone that there'd be no extra cost to use our trestles/tables, we're going to have to stick to that, at least for 2027,with the only reason to have a cost attached is to avoid having too many of our tables out. However, there has to be a practical limit to the numbers that anyone would want to borrow. So, please, if you want to use any of our tables, don't get carried away.
We are concentrating on the two sites for the moment, the Town Hall and the St Mary's Church Hall, with the Court House available should we be inundated with stallholders.
None of the Town Hall tables will be available for anywhere but the Town Hall.
They are plastic tables measuring 1800x800 and I strongly suggest for aesthetic reasons you cover them with something
Most of you would be familiar with the layout of the Town Hall. St Mary's Church Hall is 24ft x 38ft (~7540 x 11000) with an 8ft wide stage. The door into it is 5ft wide. It has a kitchen and a large outside area.
Please secure your participation with a deposit of $50 to: the Burra CMC, BSB 085-558 Acc: 955 191 049, identifying the deposit in the reference area as the Burra Antique & Collectables Fair Please return your completed EOI to paul@bacf.info or paulhorne8888@gmail.com or mail to Burra Antiques & Collectables Fair, 8 Market Street Burra 5417
Update 8 April 2026
We are currently looking at the likely costs and then the funding for the event. We willcan then ask stallholders for a deposit.
The event will be held in the Town Hall, the St Mary's Church Hall and possibly the Burra Court House if stallholder numbers suggest it.
If we use the Court House we can bring out the National Trust Fire Engines, possibly have Shire Horses and historic cars running a transport service between Kooringa (Town Hall & Church Hall) and Redruth (Court House).
Looking for the return of more Expressions of Interest, please.
